Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She has been featured on a range of TV shows and films over the course of her professional career. Initially she worked as a fashion model. But, once she became famous internationally she started acting. The beginning of her acting career came in 1995 when she starred in the show Baywatch Nights. Harmon also performs voice acting and voice-overs. Harmon decided, in 2000 to concentrate in films. Her return to acting TV programs came after having appeared in just a few films. She was one of the few actresses who chose to show off naked for the magazine "Allure" in the year 2008. The role as detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. When she played the role of detective, Harmon was widely honored and praised. Angie Harmon was nominated over several years due to her exceptional performances, but was not awarded any prizes.
